Well, Henley is 5 1/2 months old! I can't believe it has almost been half a year! She is so much fun right now-smiling and laughing all the time! She is rolling over both ways now and it almost sitting up! I can't wait till school is over so I can spend all day with her!

Easter

Easter weekend flew by! I can't believe how short 4 days can be when I am off work! Henley had a good first Easter. She got lots of cute outfits and even an egg with som $$$ in it! I just keep thinking that next year she will be hunting eggs--that seems impossible! She looked so adorable in her Easter dress. I have added some pics so you can see! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

3 1/2 months

THere is not much going on this month. Henley is just getting cuter each day! She smiles and goos all the time! She also sleeps all night, which is awesome, but she never really woke us up that much. We are lucky! She will be 4 months old on April 9th. I can't believe it! The time is flying by. I am so ready for summer though so I can be with her all day. I've added a few new pictures. Hope everyone is doing well!

Henley is changing so much everyday! I had the best time over Spring Break being at home with her! I did NOT want to go back to work! She is growing so fast. She is smiling a lauging and "talking" all the time! We just sit around and stare at her! She probably thinks we are crazy. :) We went to Cliff's baseball game the other night. She loves being outside. If only the weather would cooperate!
I bought her first Easter dress last week. I will post pictures after Easter!

Cook's check up

Henley went to Cook's yesterday for her check-up. Her pulmonary valve is structured a little different than normal, so they wanted to make sure it hadn't changed. Everything was great! She will go back when she is a year old so they can check again, but the doctor is almost postive that it will not progress. She had gained 14 oz. and grown another 3/4 of an inch in only 2 weeks!!! We are so blessed to have such a precious, healthy little girl! God is awesome!

Growing Like A Weed!

Henley is growing so fast! She changes everyday! Keep us in your prayers this week. We go back to Cook's so the doctor can look at her heart again. He just wants to make sure it isn't progressing. He didn't think it would, but he wants to be sure. She has to lay there for a good 20 minutes while they do the test, so she probably won't like it! Other than that, she is doing great! She is smiling (not when I have my camera) and making all sorts of adorable noises!

Henley had her 2 month check up yesterday! I can't believe she is already 2 months old! She did so good, until she got her shots--then she screamed and screamed!! She weighed 10 lbs 14 oz. and was 23 3/4 in long. She is growing so fast!

Well, this month has gone by so fast! She is almost two months old already! She is growing so fast! We took her to have her pictures made for her One Month b-day-she wasn't very happy, but we managed to get some good ones! She has been sick this week. She is just congested, but all her congestion made her throw up when she ate on Monday. It was so sad! She is doing better now. She is at home with daddy today. He didn't have school because of the ice, but we just had a late start. They are getting some daughter-daddy time in!

One Month Old

I can't believe Henley is already a month old! We took her to get her picture made at Sears-it took 2 days to get any with her eyes open! Literally, we had to go back on Sunday to try again! But we finally got some really cute ones. Not much else is going on here. We are transitioning to the bottle which has been a little stressful, but it is getting better. I am dreading going back to work. I go back on Jan. 22. I hope this next week lasts forever!

Dec. 24th

We went to Cook's Children's hospital today so the cardiologist could check out Henley's heart. The doctor said she had a heart murmur and wanted to get it checked out. Her pulmonary valve is structured differently than others. Right now it is fine, but he wants to check it again at 2 months to make sure it hasn't progressed. Keep her in your prayers! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Henley Ryann Watkins arrived December 9, 2008 at 3:18 pm. She weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 19 in. long. We are so blessed and excited to have her here with us! Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers! She does have a touch of jaundice, so please pray that it gets better quickly. She hated those lights! More pictures to come soon!

Henley Update

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday. They did a sonogram so we got to see her again! She is so cute! They said she weighs 7 lbs 3 oz right now-I hate to think what she would weigh in 3 weeks on my due date! We all knew she would be a chunky baby-look at her mom and dad! Everything was good, except my blood pressure, which was still a little elevated.
They changed the date next week to Wednesday. I will still go into the hospital on Tuesday afternoon and they will induce me early Wednesday morning. Cliff is on the countdown!
We just ask for your prayers next week! For all you teachers, I hope your last two weeks fly by!

I am giving this blogging thing a try. I hope when Henley arrives, I will have some idea of what I am doing! For those of you who don't know, I was due Dec. 23rd, but because I have a mild case of toxemia (pregnancy induced high blood pressure) I am on bed rest this week and they are going to induce next Tuesday, Dec. 9th.

Cliff is still working hard-the Stephenville Yellowjackets are still in the playoffs. It has been a good thing or he would probably be driving me insane! I also want to cheer for the Loboes! We miss you guys alot! Hope everyone is good!
